Its detailing is limited to a fleur-de-lys medallion and a pseudo-adelaide piece: Note that the adelaide piece, framing the laces, is not a separate piece of leather, and is only made to appear so by stitching.

This handsome and tidy oxford sits on our pointed symmetrical SEA last for a dressy effect; while it can be worn with denim, the Monroe will be at its best when paired with fine tailoring.
